Borgoluce

Borgoluce is a well-established agricultural reality in Susegana, in the production area of Valdobbiadene, perfectly embodied in the personalities of Giuliana, Ninni, Caterina, Trinidad, and Lodovico. Among the hills of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano, between the province of Treviso and the Dolomites on the horizon, this estate today covers 1200 hectares, distinguished between pastures, arable land, orchards, and chestnut woods, where biodiversity reigns supreme, offering cattle, pigs, buffalo, and sheep a truly enviable habitat. Beyond this naturalistic and gastronomic interlude, there are also the vineyards, which rise among the woods and the Castle of San Salvatore in Susegana. Glera dominates, accompanied by rows of Pinot Grigio, Manzoni Bianco, Chardonnay, and international red grape varieties such as Cabernet and Merlot.

The Borgoluce winery has always been committed to producing wines in full respect of the surrounding territory, with the awareness that by relating to nature with love, one will simultaneously receive love from it.The energy used is produced by a biomass boiler, the biodigester transforms manure and waste into biogas, from which the electrical and thermal energy that heats the stables where the buffalo rest comes. Energy saving and minimal environmental impact: living nature for Borgoluce means this! In the San Rocco Vineyard, they have long relied on the principles of organic farming, with the future ambition to expand this agronomic approach to a good part of the crops.

Borgoluce is not just a winery that works in perfect harmony with the environment, it is a place of hospitality and welcome, equipped with agriturismo and a refreshment area where you can taste their gastronomic products such as cured meats, cheeses, honey, and zero-kilometer walnuts. Borgoluce also becomes a place of education, opening its doors to children and school kids, offering them the opportunity to experience agricultural practices up close, in close contact with the countryside air, animals, and plants. Drinking a glass of Borgoluce Prosecco does not only mean satisfying the palate with a sip.fresh and lively, but supporting a systemic and virtuous production cycle, bringing a new light to the entire production area.
