Leza Garcia
Bodegas y Viñedos Leza García is a winery located in the prestigious Spanish region of Rioja Alta and produces traditional high-quality wines. The Leza family has been present in these lands for over a century and can rely on the experience of multiple generations of winemakers and a deep knowledge of the terroir. The company controls the entire production process, from vineyard management to bottling, and works only with grapes from its own vineyards. Rioja has represented one of the most suitable territories of the Iberian Peninsula for vine cultivation for centuries, with vines residing in this area since the time of Roman colonization.
The area enjoys ideal climatic conditions for viticulture. Rioja is influenced by a dual regime, the continental one from central Spain and the Atlantic one, which penetrates inland from the coast. Its position in the upper part of the Ebro river course ensures a mild, very sunny climate, characterized by good temperature variations and sufficient rainfall for the plants.

The soils are predominantly composed of limestone and clay, with significant presence of iron minerals and alluvial components. Red grape varieties represent about 75% of the total.The Leza García estate is located in the Najerilla Valley of Rioja Alta, and the vineyards are managed with extreme care and manual work from winter pruning to harvest. As for the grape varieties, the historic ones of the territory are cultivated. For reds, mainly Tempranillo, along with some plots of Garnacha, Graciano, and Mazuelo; for whites, however, Viura, Malvasía, and Tempranillo Blanco.
