Chianti 'La Boncia' Bindi Sergardi 2025
The Chianti La Boncia from the Bindi Sergardi winery is a noble and convivial expression of the Chianti territory that originates from vineyards located on the splendid hills of the municipality of Monteriggioni, in the Tuscan province of Siena. Its particular organoleptic profile expresses notes that are mainly fruity due to the winemaking process that does not use any wood in the winery, aimed at preserving the fresh fragrance that the Sangiovese grape manages to give to these jovial oenological expressions. Its strength lies especially in its natural softness, which manages to enchant whether consumed with a full meal or paired with typical grilled meat preparations.
The Bindi Sergardi Chianti La Boncia is obtained from vineyards situated on soils rich in structure based on rock from the Montagnola, a geological formation of marble nature that features inserts of clay, silt, and sand. The Sangiovese grapes are destemmed and the obtained must undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel containers, macerating in contact with its own skins for about 10 days at a controlled temperature of 25 degrees. After being racked, it then undergoes malolactic fermentation before aging for a few months in steel containers, to finally be bottled and put on the market.
The Chianti Bindi Sergardi La Boncia presents itself in the glasses with a ruby red color, clear and elegant, and reveals some slight purple reflections of excellent transparency. On the nose, it expresses the notes of typical Tuscan bouquets, releasing fruity scents reminiscent of morello cherries and wild raspberries, framed by both delicate and enveloping as well as clear aromas of fresh violets. On the palate, it is of great softness and roundness, with great taste balance and characterized by soft tannins and a pleasant persistent freshness, which leaves on the palate the purest identity of its noble terroir of origin.
