The Riesling Family Collection is one of the jewels of the Roeno family, born from the selection of the best Riesling Renano grapes, produced with slow vinification in steel and aged for 18 months in oak barrels and at least 3 years in bottle. It is a white wine for aging, fresh and mineral, with pleasant notes of ripe fruit and nuances of hydrocarbons.
A “selection of the selection,” as the Roeno team loves to define this “Family Collection,” Riesling that is born only in exceptional vintages, when the properties of the grapes allow the winery to bet on this Veneto white. It is indeed a bottle that comes to life only from the best clusters of this international grape variety, significantly raising the bar for quality and the type of processing that must be carried out throughout the entire production chain. A great commitment for the winery, which is however rewarded with a nectar of enchanting aromas, where the sip is distinguished by a pleasant persistence.
The Roeno winery produces this “Family Collection” starting from a very careful selection of the grapes of Riesling grown in its own vineyards. The grapes, once they arrive in the rooms designated for winemaking, are gently pressed, then cold macerated; alcoholic fermentation follows, carried out in steel for about 25 days. The aging phase then continues, lasting for 18 months in large oak barrels, and, after bottling, for another 36 months directly in glass.

The olfactory spectrum highlights mainly fruity and mineral notes, well presented and developed with elegance. On the palate, it is full-bodied, enveloping, with a very soft sip characterized by a savory taste; it ends with a persistent finish. A label that the Roeno winery produces only in certain vintages, when the characteristics of the grapes allow for an additional selection compared to the other Rieslings produced, reaching truly remarkable quality peaks.
