Sauvignon 'Tra Donne Sole' Vite Colte 2025
"Tra Donne Sole" además de ser el título de una breve novela de Pavese, también es el nombre de este vino blanco producido por Vite Colte a partir de uvas Sauvignon. Suave y típico, con un carácter franco y vegetal, con hierbas aromáticas y cítricos en primer plano, de sorbo fresco, ligeramente salino y limpio
The Sauvignon “Tra Donne Sole” recalls a short novel by Cesare Pavese, a writer and poet who loved to tell the charm of the Langhe in Piemonte. It is born from the selection of the best Sauvignon grapes, which on the palate create a harmonious sip, supported by the right amount of freshness, a characteristic that makes this label particularly inviting to drink. Vite Colte, a cooperative reality in Piemonte that today brings together more than 180 winegrower members, continues with this bottle a path that combines quality with an always accessible price.
The “Tra Donne Sole” is a white wine that the Vite Colte winery creates starting from an international white grape variety among the most known and cultivated in the world, Sauvignon. The vineyards enjoy excellent sun exposure and among the rows, the yields are kept low to bring in ripe and flavorful bunches at harvest. The must ferments in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature. The subsequent aging takes place always in steel for a fewmonths on the lees, then continuing for a few more months in glass, after the bottling operations.
The Vite Colte “Tra Donne Sole” presents itself with a straw yellow color, edged with slightly more golden reflections. The nose releases a typical varietal aroma of boxwood and green pepper, enriched by more fruity and floral notes. On the palate, it is light-bodied, lean, and easy to drink, with a dry and savory sip. A label that, year after year, manages to confirm itself with good scores in some of the most important national industry magazines.
