Albarei

Albarei, starting from its name, evokes the exceptional nature of the Langhe territory and bases its work on the pursuit of quality and respect for territorial identity, with the aim of creating wines that can tell the purity of Nebbiolo. An adventure that seeks to authentically convey the power and finesse, at the same time, of the various enological expressions of the ‘Langa’ with a production model that is coherent, rigorous, and faithful to the soul of the territory.

The grapes used to produce Albarei wines come from the most vocated hills of the Langhe, where the soil and mild climate favor the full ripening of the grapes and the aromatic complexity of the wines. Nebbiolo is the prince of production, made in both light and robust versions, as typical of the great reds of the area. For aging, large Slavonian oak barrels or tonneaux are preferred, to allow for a slow maturation that rounds out the sip and does not overshadow the fruit. The fresher and more immediate wines rest instead in steel, to preserve the varietal fragrance and tasting tension.

The wines signed by Albarei clearly express the character of the territory and the grape: elegance, balance, and depth. The fruit is presented with typical and very fragrant aromatic profiles, accompanied by a tense and refined structure that evolves gracefully over time. Each label is created to be recognizable, coherent, and authentic, an expression of a production philosophy that aims for stylistic precision and the enhancement of the raw material. Albarei wines tell the story of the Langhe in its purest form: a land of elegance, depth, and long memory.
