Bosco Agostino

In the heart of the Langhe, in La Morra, one of the symbolic municipalities of Barolo production, lies the Bosco Agostino Agricultural Company. This small family-run business has its roots in 1904, the year of birth of the founder Pietro Bosco, who dedicated decades exclusively to viticulture, selling grapes to third parties. The real turning point came in 1979, when the family decided to start vinifying on their own, transforming a wine destined solely for family consumption into a product for the market. Success soon followed, and since then the company has experienced steady growth, remaining deeply connected to the territory and tradition. After Pietro's passing in 1983, his son Agostino took over, eventually involving his wife Carla and son Andrea, a graduate enologist, who today represents the new generation.

The vineyard area extends for about 4 hectares, all within the municipality of La Morra, and includes traditional grape varieties from Piemonte such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto. The vineyards are entirely owned and cultivated with great care to obtain grapes of the highest quality, an essential basis for precise and respectful vinification. In the vineyard, Agostino personally oversees every phase of the production cycle, while in the cellar, Andrea takes care of the transformation, with a meticulous approach and modern vision. The cellar was expanded in 2006 with new spaces for aging, bottling, and hospitality, confirming a desire for balanced growth, always in the name of quality.

The company produces five labels, including two Barolo from the crus Neirane and La Serra, two of the most suitable areas in the territory of La Morra. In addition, there is a Barbera d’Alba, a Dolcetto d’Alba, and a Langhe Nebbiolo, all sincere expressions of the territory and the family style of the company. Each bottle tells a story made of dedication, manual labor, and respect for tradition, with the constant goal of producing wines with personality and identity, capable of standing out and leaving a mark.
